To me Riley seems a lot more feminine anyway, so I wouldn't use it for a boy, but I love the name used for a girl especially when it's spelled Rylie because that's a feminine spelling and less likely to be confused than Riley. I don't want Allie to be short for anything because I really don't like any of the long forms, and I really like just plain Allie.
