Thoughts on Thomasin for a girl?
What about
Cecily and
Amice or
Felice?
What these names have in common is that they were all common girls names in the Middle Ages. Now they’ve pretty much died out.
Any ideas why?
Thomasin doesn’t even have a proper entry here. It’s kind of close to
Madison, but I guess without the feminine nickname and hardly known.
Amice is AM-is, so kind of close to
Alice.
Felice was fay-LEES, I guess, but not sure.
Maybe
Cecily is too close to „silly“? But then again
Madison is close to „mad“ and
Sadie has „sad“ in it yet they’re popular.
Let me know what you think.
