[Opinions] Sherry
What are your thoughts on Sherri or Sherry?I never gave them much thought, but I met one recently and it really does sound soft and beautiful. The only thing that bothers me is the missing etymology. I don’t even find it dated, it sounds happy and young.

I really love this name, and I wish that I could use it.

It has a pleasant sound but I can't decide if I like any of the spellings for it... Cherri, Cherry, Sherrie, Sharrie, etc. I guess Sherri looks the most like a name, or the most feminine.

One of my neighbors is named Sherri, and she's lovely. She has a deep, forceful voice and is the wife of a photographer. That said, I don't care for the name.

Oh boy. I hate these both. Given the lack of etymology I think of cooking sherry.

To me it does sound a bit dated but I like it! I prefer Sherry to Sherri.
