Bess and Bessie have long been my favorites, though I'm also fond of Betsy, Bette, and Betty, the latter of which I expect will return to the top of the popularity charts.

I'm really getting into Betty, Bette, Bettye, and Bets. It's funny how Betty feels fresh to me now, I used to hate it. I have a sneaking suspicion that soon I will be viewing Betsy more favorably. Bess is also really sweet.

My absolute favourite used to be Eliza, and I still like it a lot. Eliza feels arch and clever to me.

For Elizabeth, I like it used in full (without a nickname), but I’d choose Lizzie, Liz, and Beth as nicknames. Though, if it were me, I’d probably use Lizzie as a full name instead of Elizabeth.

I'm bored by Liz, Lizzie, Liza and Eliza. I'd use Betsy or Betsan.

Oh I like so many! Elsie, Eliza, Bessie, Betsy, Betty, Beth, Lizzie, Ellie, Elise. They all bring something different to the table, it would be hard for me to choose one!

It depends on the person. Elizabeth has a lot of nicknames that suit a wide range of personalities.
