What do you think? Is it overused?

I really like Avery... as a masculine name. It has caught on extensively for feminine usage, though (like a sportier Ava), so I'd hate to think of a real life boy named Avery being teased that he has a "girl's name." :-(
At this point, I'd probably use it as a middle rather than a first name.

I think that it’s both pretty for a girl, and handsome for a boy. I don’t think that it would be my first option as a name, but I do like its sound!
I think it's a good name. Personally I think it sounds cool.

Where I live, I've only ever seen it as a surname; and I don't like lnfns.
Overused
Boring and way overused.
I think it is overused, particularly for a girl. I prefer it better for a boy, but it works well either way, IMO. But, certainly more refreshing on a boy. (Was reminded of that more while watching a movie that just happened to have a main male character named Avery).
I've came across a few in my life (mostly girls of course, including now my niece's little preschool friend, which is what the name reminds me of at the moment.)
It's a decent-enough name (neither spectacular nor horrendous.) Just there really.

It's my niece's name so I like it. I've only met maybe 3 or 4 total so it's not overused in my area.

I've never met one, so it's not over used in my little bubble! Avery is fun. I started getting attached to Avery after I used it as a surname for a character and had to write "Miss Avery" over and over. Now I think of it as a sharp, clever, smartly-dressed sort of "Victorian androgynous" name. Like Ivy, but more buttoned up.
Like it as a boys name only, hate the flash in the pan bnog aspect.
Don't like for either, I only know of one, so not overused
It's handsome on a boy but too trendy for my liking on a girl. The sounds are lovely, though.
Too trendy I think
