Eileen is one of my favorites.
Of other feminine *-een* names on my list is:
Colleen
Kathleen
Maureen
Never met anyone named any of those, as they're not Danish names.
I have one male name of that criteria: Steen. I've met a few of those in my lifetime, as it was a name used a lot in my generation, that one and the Sten variant, and those before mine (1977).
A thought:
The parents of actor siblings John and Joan Cusack?
I guess they didn't know they named their kids the very same name.
Then again, how did they not even know, or was told, this fact?
