Generally - with exceptions:
- Creative spellings, unnecessary y's, x's and z's (Exzavier,
Madisyn, Rileigh, etc.)
- Ones that are super dated and sound like my grandparents' siblings (
Walter,
Florence,
Dottie,
Mildred)
- Trendy ones that will become dated to a time period (like the creative spellings -leigh endings, replacing vowels with y, pop culture references like
Katniss,
Miley,
Renesmee)
- Names that start with U (
Ursula,
Ulysses,
Una,
Uma)
- Title names (
King,
Queenie,
Princess,
Prince,
Duke)
- Random words (I don't mean established names that happen to also be words or commonly used jewels, nature, virtues, etc. but names like
Blue,
Lucky,
Ace)
- Names with apostrophes
- Names that are very complex and hard to pronounce that come from Biblical or Mythological sources (
Achilles,
Zeus,
Bathsheba)
- Cutesy or Pet-like names (
Poppy,
Bunny,
Honey,
Buddy,
Rex)
- Random animals (Why are people naming kids
Bear?)
