Help[Opinions] Names of Lords, Ladies & Titled in my ancestory
I'm not even going to try to pretend to understand/know all of the formalities of how the noble names are written out.. but I have No doubt someone will correct me. Let me know what you think of these. Which ones strike you as nobility? Which ones don't?

Haha; I'm delighted that two of the men bore my name (William)! I could see any of these names with potential nobility, and think they're fine. My favorites of the ladies are Alice, Margaret, Joan, Maude, Agnes, Cynthia, and Elizabeth. From the lords, I really enjoy William (lol), Roger, Andrew, Jeffery, Edward, Thomas, Richard, James, and Oswald.
I'm very surprised by Olive-Marie - it sounds so modern, and not very aristocratic. When was she alive? Where was she from?

You're welcome. I was just as surprised as you, but I do like it. When I told my mom (It's an ancestor on my maternal side) she was like "Oh that's so cute!"
I love Mary Prudence, Joan Agnes, Marianne Elizabeth Alys, and Thomas Oswald.
I think it's one title at a time! Lady Susan and Baroness Gladys; Sir John and Lord James, unless you're David Cameron in which case it's Lord Cameron. Go figure! Not sure what a Baron would go by: Baron Thomas? Lord Thomas?
Are you sure about Prefivall? Could be Percival in very bad handwriting?
Most names could be anyone's. I don't consider Mary Ellen, Joan Agnes (together or separately) or Dianne particularly title-worthy; Diane or Diana, yes. Jeffrey (though not Geoffrey) and Roger seem rather pleb, but it often depends on when they were named. Jehan is a nice surprise.
My cousin married a Marjorie Mary! Anything but titled, but a nice person. I love Alice, Marianne and Margaret.
