[Opinions] Apolinary
Just found this name in my family tree! A Polish man born c.1880, my great-great-grandfather. Thoughts? I wouldn’t use it of course but it’s ancestry gold.

Once I used to known a Polina, who insisted that her full name is Apollinaria. We were both little kids, though.
Apolinary makes me think of a scholar or a poet from 18 century, indeed.

I can imagine the adventurous life of Apolinary Irenarchus and his brother Ardalion Dositheos.
I'm mostly reminded of Don Apolinar Moscote from 100 Years of Solitude. Cool name
Looks like a combination of Apollo and apothecary. Very eccentric and 18th/19th century. I enjoy seeing it but I don't think it would be appreciated on a real person today!
It looks like it's related to Apollo - which is a much better name. Definitely gold, though. I love rare name sightings.

Sorry sounds like a polinary
It sounds not like a name, but a place, like an apothecary, but a store where you can buy ... pollen?
It's glorious and achingly romantic. I love it!
