[Surname] Adding a Surname Help
I submitted a surname (before I made my account), but it's been two weeks and nothing has happened (as in none of the verification dots are filled in). Did I do something wrong and/or what is the expected wait time?
Other info:
The name was Schreiner, and it's really not a super rare name. I'm almost positive I did the pronunciation thing wrong, so help with that would be appreciated as well. It's meant to be pronounced "sh-rye-ner," but that's not official formatting, right?

Schreiner is from Middle High German schrīnære ‘joiner, carpenter‘.
I just improved and verified the entry. For a pronunciation guide, see here: https://surnames.behindthename.com/info/pronunciation
As for how long the editing and verification process typically takes, unfortunately there is really no way to know. It could occur in minutes, but all too often it takes years and some will even lay around for over a decade without a single edit. In the end it depends on the availability and discretion of editors.

Wow, thank you so much for fixing it! Thanks for letting me know the expected wait time, also!
