I like Hailey. Hayley is too twangy and exaggerated, and Haley looks nice and simple but reads like Hallie more than Hailey. Haylie is okay, at least it's balanced, but it also just looks like dyslexic Hailey.
Hailie is very unbalanced.
Hailee, Haylee, etc. look too cutesy.
Haleigh and Hayleigh look ugly, Haleigh looks like it's pronounced Hallie like you said (same for Haley), and Hayleigh is also too much like "hay + neigh". Or a field of hay since leigh means a lea/meadow).
I went to school with a Halea which looks nice on paper but doesn't really read as Hailey. It looks more like ha-LAY-a.ETA: I'm from North America
