[Opinions] Roxanne

It’s ok, but Roxanne reminds me of Roseanne though, which I don’t like, and seems a bit dated. I prefer Roxana.

I absolutely love Roxanne. One of the best names out there, in my opinion. I wish I was cool enough to be a Roxanne.

Me with the name Roxy. Roxy makes me think of an independent rebel or rockstar.

Sounds dated and not very feminine

I prefer Roxy, but I like Roxanne as well! I think it's a very underrated name.

The name Roxanne is a top favorite of mine, and has been for years; I absolutely love it!

Ok, just fine.

I used to like this name but the fact there are two number one hit songs about a prostitute named Roxanne really turn me off of this name. Maybe for a pet.

It's lovely and the epitome of moxie!

It's very loud and flashy.

On two occasions, in two different countries, I've been stuck in a guesthouse for a whole rainy weekend and the only reading matter was a heap of production-line romantic novelettes. Both times, one of these books (not the same one!) had a Roxanne heroine who was, naturally, beautiful, charming, insecure, almost snared by the conniving villain but ended up with the bland, boring hero. After that, I have difficulty in taking the name seriously. I've never met one IRL.
