Help[Opinions] Re: "Low rent" names

Not criticising you for posting this because I think it's something we all perceive, whether we want to or not. I just wanted to observe how the terminology shifts around it. When I first joined this board people used to freely describe names as "tacky" or "classy." I feel like people stay away from them both now. We also stay away from "low rent" but I do feel like that's a way to try to be a bit gentle around the concept.
Again, not judging. It's just interesting. I wonder if there is a way to explore our perceptions on this level without being offensive. For that to be possible, we would have to exist in a context without social stigma at all. So we'd either have to live in a utopia, or forcibly, artificially create those conditions within the context of the community or thread.
