[Opinions] Obscure names you love?
What are some obscure names you never see used but that you'd love to see on a real human?

I suppose ''obscure'' is a question of perspective. I went with names I have not heard a lot as real given names, neither growing up or recently.
Feminine: Agape, Arsinoe, Arthémise, Azélie, Cassiopée, Cybèle, Edwige, Gwenaëlle, Iphigénie, Iseult (not obscure, but certainly not used a lot), Lucrèce, Sayen, Zenaida
Masculine: Adélard, Anatole, Arsène, Athanase, Eudes, Hector, Ludger, Stanislas
Feminine: Agape, Arsinoe, Arthémise, Azélie, Cassiopée, Cybèle, Edwige, Gwenaëlle, Iphigénie, Iseult (not obscure, but certainly not used a lot), Lucrèce, Sayen, Zenaida
Masculine: Adélard, Anatole, Arsène, Athanase, Eudes, Hector, Ludger, Stanislas
I'm a huge fan of obscure names, they mostly compose my PNLs, so I decided to choose 10 random names from both databases, for both genders. Of course, most of these would be hard to bear, but they are interesting, nonetheless!

I’m honestly surprised Hera isn’t used more considering Greek names are starting to rise in popularity + Hera sounds like a lot of popular names.
I always promote Emerence, the French form of Emerentia (itself the feminine of Emerentius) which has also had some use in Belgium and the Netherlands, and which I think would be a great alternative for people looking for "different but not too different" shifts from Emily and Emma.

Ooh, that is a good name!
I like Emerence but prefer Emerencia and Emerenciana
Come to Québec, I went to school with at least 4 Jérémies. Haha!

Declan isn't obscure.
Anrrique is interesting, I like it! It would fit as the name of a knight in a video game set in the Middle Ages.
I don't know what counts as obscure, but I went with has never been on any top 1000 list ever.
