[Opinions] Brinley
This is bad but how bad or do you like it?

I really don’t like it, sorry! I do like Brynn
It reminds me of Brittney but with a gritty brininess. The sound is on trend, but it isn't my style.
This is my sister-in-laws name! Her parents got it from the Narnia books. Ironically in the books it was the name of a horse and she is obsessed.
I like it tho! It feels familiar but isn’t trendy (tho sounds like a trendy name). Also nn Brin is darling!

Objectively, does it sound awful? No.
But subjectively, it just feels like a fad. It's a ''trindy'' name right now. To me it feels like the McKenzie or the Everly of the moment. And like both these examples, it gets spelled so many ways, it's annoying. Brinlee, Brinleigh, Brynly, Brynlee, etc.
I know that as they become adults, I'll be able to guess most Brinley's age in a second. Because it feels very 2023.

Just another -ley name; nett result, just another lnfn. I prefer the look of Brindley, but I'd never use either one at gunpoint.
I agree with everything.
It's bad. Quite bad, but not, admittedly, the worst. It's among those awful twee options like paisley. Doesnt help that it always reminds me of the dog coat option, brindle.
Not as bad as some other -ley names, but still bad.
Surprisingly, I actually kind of like this name; not that it would be my first pick. I think that it sounds modern and feminine, so I can get the appeal for this name. I would rank it as a (very) guilty pleasure, as long as the spelling isn't too out there (ex. Brinnliegh, which I've actually seen...not a typo!).
