[Opinions] Zev, Zeev, Ze’ev
Hebrew boys name meaning wolf. What do you think and which one would you use? How would you pronounce each?
The animal is pronounced ze-EHV.
Zev I think is minimalistic and easy to pronounce, however it would be pronounced ZEHV which is slightly different to the animal.
Zeev I like least, as it looks clumsy and would be instinctively pronounced ZEEV, which is awful.
Ze’ev is the only one that would be pronounced right and my personal favourite aesthetically, but apostrophes are so difficult in names.

I personally prefer Ze'ev, but I agree that the apostrophe could cause some problems. Alternatively I'd go with Zeev. Zev is my least favorite spelling, because it looks a little unfinished and doesn't reflect the right pronunciation. I don't live in an English speaking country, so pronunciations are a bit different here.
If you want the name to be pronounced like ze-EHV, go with the third spelling. I personally prefer Zev, but I would pronounce it with one syllable.
Could be a nn for Zevadyah.
maybe, never heard of that before!
