[Opinions] Brinsley
Found a new name for everyone! It's even worse than Kinsley, I think.I came across it on Instagram, on an adult. What do you think of Brinsley??

I think it's preferable to Kinsley, but only by a smidge.

I don't care for Brinsley but I do remember the writer below. I would guess that a lot of Irish children were named in his honour.Fyi - Richard Brinsley Sheridan was an Anglo-Irish author, playwright and politician who lived from the 1750's to 1816. He was famous for some comedies of manners like "The School For Scandal" and "The Rivals".

Brynlee / Brinley never really bothered me, but Brinsley is yuck.
It could only be worse if it were Brintsley or Brinksley.

Not the worst -Ley name, but still not good.

"Sley" is not a good sound. That is why I do not like Ensley, Kinsley or Paisley, but do not mind Kinley, McKinley, or Riley.

That is definitely worse than Kinsley.

I actually prefer it to Kinsley but it’s still bad.

I'm happy that I and everyone I know have all managed not to have it as a name. Apart from the lnfn issue, it sounds pretentiously like Princely.

It does sound like Princely, I did not notice that!

Man, I can't find anyone called Brinsley McNamara on Instagram (well, there's this one [blank, new] account that has no followers or anything)...I wanted to see, lmao 😔. Anyways, I'm not the biggest fan of this name, but I bet the dude is nice.
