[Opinions] Elysia, Elysian, or Elysium?
Which do you prefer and why?

They're all tacky in an RPG way, but at least Elysia seems like a name. The others read exclusively as an adjective and a noun, respectively, to me.

Elysium. Love it.Elysia and Elysian are great too, but Elysium above all else here.

I think Elysia and Elysian would go well with the current liquid name trend. And Elysium is the name of the a fictional country I created where my characters live.

Elysia is pretty; I like Elisha for a boy a lot more, though it has a long “i” vowel sound. Elīsha.

I like Elysian the best. Elysia is a close contender but I like the look of Elysian better. Elysium is a total no-go, sounds like something you'd find on the periodic table.

I love the periodic table!

Ah, well if that's what you want then totally go for it lol.

Elysia sounds like a name. Elysian and Elysium are and adjective and noun respectively, no?

I don't mind the adjective-name thing for Elysian. It would be a name in the same way "Roman" and "Dane" are.

I feel as if it's more like Heavenly.

I can see that. I guess my hang up is that Dane and Roman and other adjective names were previously surnames, so a surname to first name transition feels more natural to me than an adjective straight to name. Not a tereible name either way.

My cousin's wife is named Elysia Eir. While it sounds super hippie she's a conservative Baptist Midwestern woman. She doesn't like her name at all, but I love it Elysian and Elysium are too place namey for me.

Do you know why her parents picked that?

I've never gotten a straight answer. She was the youngest and unexpected, and her mom was all about being hip.

Hm. It does seem religious, or more so than something like Alicia would have been, just not in a conservative Baptist way. :)

I like Elysia best. Elysian is good, but it does read as an acjective "of Elysium / from the Elysian Fields".
Elysium doesn't make sense as a name at all IMO.I once knew and Elysia who pronounced it ə-li-sha, which I didn't really like because it just sounded like Alicia or something, but I like Elysia in theory.

I think Elysia looks and sounds most like a first name.Elysian is an adjective so it's more of a description of a THING to me. Elysium is a noun and it's also the name of a sci-fi movie.

None of them seems human to me. I'd much prefer Elise.

Elysia, the others and too frilly, I prefer Elyse or Elyssa

I actually like all of them, but I choose Elysium because it directly refers to the realm.
