It feels too short and unofficial but I like it as a NN for Zia, Zinnia, Zoe, etc.

It’s not a name. It could be a nickname.

I like it as a nickname, for Zenobia or something maybe. As a full name there's not enough happening to keep my interest.

Maybe as a nickname (Zoe, Zeenat, Zenobia, Zia, Ziba, Zoila, Zofia, Zaahira, Zabel, Zita, Ziva, Zisel, Zipporah, Zinnia, Zinaida), or even as a middle name, but absoloutely not as a first name. A person deserves and actual name with an actual meaning, and not just a one syllable sound.

Wouldn't work where I live: we pronounce the letter's name 'Zed'. Anyway, it's silly as a full name. Could perhaps work as a nn for Zoe or Zara or something, but only for a child.

I think every child deserves to be given a proper NAME not a LETTER.

I would advise you to pick a "Z" initial name (Zelda, Zara, Zuri, Zenobia etc...) and give her the nickname of Zee.
