[Opinions] Cat names for ragdoll?
We’re getting a ragdoll cat but can’t agree on names. I tend to like names like Esmeree, Padme, Svetlana and Faline, but wouldn’t want something too simple like Emily or Olivia. If anyone has any ideas whatsoever respond! :)UPDATE: We ended up getting a boy. And not one, but two. Disaster, since I loved so many of the girls names suggested. Anyway, their names are Skye and Saffron (from previous owner) and we decided to keep them. I’ve nicknamed Saffron Ronnie/Ron, since his name is already elaborate, this was quite easy. For Skye however, I haven’t really got anything I like. Is there a more elaborate name that sounds like Skye, as if Skye is a nickname for it, that maybe has more room for nicknames? For example, Ellie (nickname for Aurelie) or Val (nick for Valerius)
Is there something like this that can be done for Skye?

Ragdolls are so floppy and easy going, they need a name that feels cozy and kinda boring, like Andy or Maggie or Marsha or Duncan. For a more elaborate name I'd head into the realm of something so hifalutin it's silly, like Perlipat or Huckleberry Finn or Judah Ben-Hur or Zinfandel or Jehoshaphat.Something food related would be cute. Like Quiche or Rutabaga, or Strawberry Pavlova, or Croquette.
Stunning cats! My brother has two! Gyeoul “Woolly” (it’s Korean and means Winter)
Marshmallow “Marsha”
Gwendolyn “Gwennie”Cornflower
Blondie (like the band)
Dahlia Lovelace “Lacey”
Cricket (because of the way they jump around)
Iris

Gwendolyn is a cute idea!
Our Ragdoll/Tonkinese cross were called Gizmo after the gremlin as that is what the cat turned into when they wanted to play and Rocky because he could batter open sliding doors in our house with his head.Meg

A pet needs a simple name that's easy to call.
For a rag doll cat, I'd recommend Ann or Andy.
As in Raggedy.
Yes! Also Fluffy.
Oh I love ragdolls! Thisbe
Arrietty
Bianca (means white)
Cosette ‘Cozy’
Crispin (I know it’s a boy name but I think it could be cute on a girl cat)
Evelina
Florissa ‘Flossie
Galadriel
Galatea (means milk)
Gossamer or Thimble (random word names that I love for cats)
Imogen
Miriam ‘Mim’
Let us know what you choose in the end!
These are adorable omg,I usually don’t like A names but I love Arrietty and I love Thisbe, Mim is such a cute nickname as well!
