[Opinions] Cecil campervan
This campervan has been in the local news recently. They named the campervan Cecil!
WDYT of the name Cecil, and what would you call a campervan?

My father's name was Cecil; he must have been one of the last in captivity! He was also the youngest of five children, so perhaps his parents were scraping the barrel by then. One of my British great-uncles always called him Ceecil with a very long e; must have been dialectal (Geordie).
I like the name, naturally. He wanted to name me Sarah Anne, after his late mother, but luckily my mother won that round; I can't stand Sarah. I would have been happy to be Cecily, but they didn't think of it.
ETA: we once had a car called Cyprus Airport. There was a reason; if you're bored, try to guess!

Cecil has an two unfortunate "s" sounds however it's pronounced. It gives me an image of a weakling with a severe lung condition. Basil and Cyril may have the same problem but to a lesser degree.
An old Volkswagen camper = Otto or Frieda depending on the "gender" of the vehicle (eg. look and feel of the van). If it's just a regular clunker, I would call it Nellie Belle (my family had a old car by this name).
An sleek new camper van = Blaise, Cruise or Sterling / Flair, Marvel or Journey.

I love Cecil! It’s so debonair.
Don't like Cecil, very dated
