My great grandmother was Welsh and was bilingual speaking both Welsh and English fluently. I have always preferred Bronwen to Bronwyn and Olwen to Olwyn. There is also Anwen, Branwen which are feminine and Alwyn which is masculine.Don’t take criticism from someone you wouldn’t take advice from
