I'm sorry, but I'm not the biggest fan of this spelling. I do know of a Skylear about 4 years younger than me; her mom compromised, when she liked Skyler and Skylar. I prefer the Skyler spelling, because I've encountered it more!

It looks like skie-ye-ler to me. I prefer Skylar.

I don't think this spelling makes sense. It's like Sky-eh-lar or Skyey-lar more than Sky-ler.

I'd say Skyler is the best spelling for the intention of the name.

This spelling messes with my eyes. I want to read it as "ski-yell-er". Skylar and Skyler are my favorite spellings in that order. I think the others look clunky. (Schuyler, Schuylar, Skiler, etc.) I do like Sky and Skye as standalone names, but for some reason Skyelar doesn't seem as pretty.

I think it looks awful. I think Skylar is nice. Skyelar looks like it's skeeler or skayeller or something, and also ... sorry to anyone named it ... it just looks a bit dumb to me. Putting an E in it doesn't make it not Skylar. You could still spell a nickname for Skylar, as Skye, that'd be fine.

For me, it's Schuyler or nothing. I prefer the original Dutch surname to any phonetic spelling. All other spellings just take all of the charm out of the name.

I am not a "guy" but I think the spelling will add problems to the person having to always spell it.
