Help[Opinions] Chaotic character: Maks?
I have several characters in a story. The main character is Mikah, and a friend of theirs is Pax.
Mikah's personal antagonist is a chaotic, crimson-haired, wicked-smiling trickster. I feel like "Maks" is a good match for him, but I'm worried that it's too similar to Mikah and Pax.
If I need to change it, I'm wondering about an alternative name with an "x" sound at the end. I've considered Lux, Tricks, Jax, and Flax, but none of them suit him.
Can I ask for opinions? :) Should it be changed, or kept as is?

If that kind of name is standard practice in your particular Fantasyland, then make that clear by having all the names, or all the same-sex names, follow the pattern. If it follows the conventions on Anglophone Earth, then seriously consider changing something. What you change is up to you.
Maks seems very similar to Mikah since they both start with M and have alternative spellings with a “K.” If they’re not intended to be related, I would go with something else. Maks could also very easily be confused with Pax if you speak the names out loud.

I think Max, Micah and pax work better
Sorry, I just realized you already have Maks. Some names ending with an X...
