Hate it because of its association with the Beckhams and Penelope Cruz, whom I don't like.

I had family use it and thought it was weird but we have no ancestry from Latin America. We have 1 Spanish royalty from like the 1300s

I wouldn't use it simply because of its association with Ted Cruz. If it didn't have that connection I'd say it was fine.

I don't like it and don't see it as religious

Not my style, but it’s a handsome name! I don’t think it’s too religious, but I don’t speak Spanish.

I like it, it's a cute gender-neutral name. I don't think I would use it because I'm not religious like that. I'm also not too sure how to feel about this, but for me it just feels a little weird that some people are using such a religious name in many cases from a religion/culture that they aren't a part of without any religious or cultural context.
