[Facts] Cases of convergent name evolution
Basically, names that have completely different origins from completely different languages but have somehow ended up looking and/or sounding the same when written in the western alphabet. For example; Ken, Naomi, Anita, Lina, Nina, Maya, etc. I know that there's more out there and thought I should ask about them before spending hours digging through this site.

My nickname, Nino, is another one. It's a masculine diminutive (sometimes used as a given name) in the West, and in Georgian it's a feminine given name, both with different etymologies. I feel like you see it more with shorter names. Long names generally don't exist in more than one unrelated culture.

A quick look through my PNL provides Basil, Morgan, Paz, Seth, and Simon. A quick way to find some examples is to look for names that have (1), (2), etc. on the end on here, although some of those are derived from different versions of the same name (e.g. Laurence).
