Galina is a popular female name in Russia.
Makes me think of a chicken. OK, there should be an extra L, but I'm going by sound.
Same. It's a beautiful name, but I want to read it like 'chicken' 😅
In Spanish, 'll' makes a 'y' sound, so I don't think 'Galina' and 'gallina' sound the same.
