[Opinions] Re: Atlanta
At first, I couldn't imagine why someone who had no connection or attachment to the U.S or Atlanta, Georgia would name their child that, but I remembered that the name might remind the parents of Atlantis. Or anything aquatic and tropical. I prefer that reason much better than naming a kid after a city simple because it's "hip" or "cool". Hip and cool things die out. But the natural world and mythology are pretty permanent. I do like the sound of the name. I think about a child who grew up near the shore, collecting seashells.
