I like Timothy and Tim and Timmy are good nn
I love Timothy and would use the nickname Tim but if I remember correctly Timmy was the name of the dog in The Famous Five by Enid Blyton.
Timothy is all right, but I've never met a Timothy who wasn't always called Tim. I like Tim as a nn for Timothy, and I prefer it to Timothy, but if necessary I'd name a boy Timothy and then just call him Tim. Timmy is very babyish.
I like these names.
I don't mind Timothy but the nickname I would choose would be Timo (tee-mo).
I think that Timothy is a very handsome and charming name; I love the combination Charles Timothy. Tim isn't bad in my opinion, but I do prefer Timothy in full form.
