Charlotte - I just...don't get it. The sound is unappealing when I say it out loud, and it comes off a little mushy due to the name's letter structure. Plus I can't stand '
Charlie' used as a feminine name, and
Charlotte often gets reduced to this.
Poppy - Years ago when I first heard this used as a name, I was actually quite taken with its freshness and brightness. But as I came to find recently due to my niece having a friend named this, the novelty gets old FAST. It gets worse the longer you say or hear it.
Ingrid - Too aggressive and heavy.
Phyllis - I love old-timey, classic names, even the ones that sound old-ladyish and matronly, but this one takes it to another level. I can't find a single redeeming factor for this one, it's not an appealing or pretty sound at all.
Lauren - My number one for dullest name of all time. It's so uninspired and mundane that it feels like a placeholder until you find something better.
