Nanny(1886): Minnie Ruth Fletcher (Guest)Hugh and Mabel have both remarried. Hugh married Charity after a two-year courtship. He is still somewhat surly, but happy to be wed again. Charity is pleased to be a married lady and have a home and family. Hugh is happy and hoping to have many more children, especially sons. Mabel and Paul are also married and happy. Paul published his first novel, The Gent and The Vamp, under the name Revere Duncan. It was instantly declared a "modern classic" and he ascended into upper echelon of modern authors. He's currently taking a break from his next book to go with Mabel and her parents to see the Olympics in Paris! John and Alida are disappointed not to be there, as both are obsessed and Alida wants to compete someday in Women's Dressage. Mabel is sending souvenirs and letters to her kids in England and hopes to see them soon before she and Paul go back to America.

ex-DBF's Roommate (1892): Ennis Patrick O'Callaghan (Amoret)Beth and Roy got married in 1923! Their parents are so happy. Beth and Roy are welcomed a boy very recently. Roy and Beth are excited to read about the Olympics in the morning paper each day at breakfast. They aren't able to attend the Olympics in person which is okay since neither one is ready to go to back to France. Beth promises Adele that someday they will be able to see France again. Roy's and Beth's son has a Swedish first name to honor their ancestry and one of Roy's names as his middle name.

Meanwhile Laurence's parents were so grateful for the time Laurie spent with the Beattys that they invited Sydney to stay with them. Both Laurie and his sister (1904) tried out for the Olympic team, but only his sister made it! She's going to be swimming for the American team! Meanwhile Sydney started playing sports at the local YMCA while staying with his cousins. He is now going to be on a demonstration team to show the world a relatively new sport from America called Volleyball as part of the children's games. Laurie and his parents are going to cheer their daughter and Sydney on! Alice and George are very proud of their son, even if he won't get a medal.
