I love Riva because it means "Damsel" in Literary Hebrew!

Just yesterday, I was thinking about the names Reba and Riva. I had an aunt who died in infancy named Reba Odell, Odell being her middle name. I love them both, but the Reba McEntire association could get aggravating. Riva may surge on the coattails of Ava and Eva. I prefer the Reva spelling.
Anyway, Riva Cecile, Riva Lucile, and Riva Lenore are great!

I knew a Riva at school, and it's the spelling I would prefer except that it looks like a kre8iv attempt at River, which would lead to pronunciation problems. I suppose Reeva would be the safest, but it lacks the elegance and energy of Riva. Riva Louise works for me; Riva Lynette, Riva Cecile ... it seems to need the mn to be two syllables, stress on the second.
I love Riva! It's creative without being too out there. I like Riva, Reva and Reeva, but like Riva the most. It looks lighter and charming.
