Congratulations! You have been chosen to adopt Simão, age 13, Catia, age 9, and Yoana, age 2. Simão and Catia are siblings from the Portuguese city of Porto who were cared for by their grandparents until their grandparents’ advanced age caused them to be placed into foster care. Simão is quiet and protective of his sister, and he loves to read and write. He has olive skin, short dark brown hair, and brown eyes and wears horn-rimmed glasses. Catia is outgoing and sporty—she especially loves to play football(or soccer). She also has epilepsy. She has olive skin, shoulder-length dark brown hair, and amber eyes. Yoana was born in the Bulgarian town of Lovench, to a teen mother who didn’t feel ready to raise a child and so put Yoana up for adoption. Yoanna has mouse brown hair and light gray eyes. She is currently healthy and meeting all of her developmental milestones.
