I think Annette is very attractive, and goes well with a lot of first names if it's in the middle name slot. (Not Mary Annette though!)My feeling is, if you want to honor your grandma, just use one of her names. If she had a middle name or a surname that wasn't something like McGillicuddy or Schwarzentruber you could use that for first or middle.If you want a variation, I think Anita is very pretty. You do have to be careful with combos or you end up with something silly like Anita Kane or Anita Mann or Anita Walker. lolI have also heard and liked the name Anitra, which is pronounced like Anita but with an r in there. That would take care of any silly-combos worries.Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
