[Facts] X Æ A-12 and what are we allowed to post.
I'm sure everyone is aware of the terrible name Elon Musk give his child. I made a name submission for it, which was properly made and filled with information on the name, but it was deleted soon after I posted it. Is there a reason for this? I don't understand what I did wrong while making it.It included the origin of the name, what it means (surprisingly there is meaning to it.), multiple spellings, how it's pronounced, ect. Something similar happened with the name "Computer" which while a weird name, is more common than I expected.

They were forced to change the child's name by California law, so technically it is not a name. X Æ A-Xii is on the site and X Æ A-12 is listed as a variant. Generally variants are allowed on the site, but since there are no actual bearers of that variant (as far as I know) and it was just a discussion, it would not be considered real.
XÆ A-Xii:

Also, when I searched for your entry of X Æ A-12 I couldn't find it. I'm an admin for the names so I can see deleted names. I was able to find Computer, but I couldn't find X Æ A-12. You have accidentally not submitted it.

Wait, nevermind. I found it. You submitted it as Xashatwelve. It was deleted because that spelling was never used.

I called it that because the system prevents me from using numbers, spaces, or dashes in names and that's how it's supposedly pronounced according to Elon, so that's the best I could come up with.

Dashes are allowed.
Vykv-yna is in the database and so are many hyphenated Korean names and a few French double names.
Examples:

https://www.behindthename.com/name/ye01na/submitted
https://www.behindthename.com/name/marie01e11veNumbers are allowed, for example: T9C.
https://www.behindthename.com/name/tc/submittedSpaces are allowed, for example, Public Universal Friend.
https://www.behindthename.com/name/public00universal00friend/submittedSpecial characters (in this case, Æ) are definitely allowed. There are plenty of names with special characters. It may give you a warning notice if you use some of these (e. g. if you use a dash, it will tell you not to use one if it's a western combination name because there's just too many to put in the database). The entry XÆ A-Xii is on the site and it contains spaces and a dash.
