I strongly dislike Samuel (uel / mule 🤢), John is too tainted and plain, and Ryan is a “boy next door” name. I’d choose Ryan.

John, all the way. The ultimate classic! Ryan is heading over the hill, and I've never liked Sam or Samuel.

Samuel seems the most usable and likeable name to me. Sam is a good nickname and suits all ages. Samuel is a pretty timeless name.

I like Samuel the most.

I like John the most, it's a simple & handsome name.
