Help[Opinions] Volya & Vlodek
Volya is short of Vsevolod in Russian, but nobody except grandpa or great grandpa is called Vsevolod these days
I really like Volya because it also mean will or freedom in Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian
It may also be short of Volha but I do not have any source :/
Thoughts on Volya?
Vlodek is basically Ukrainianised Włodek- short form of Volodymyr I made up. There is Volodyk, but I think it sound better as Volodek with e, but fast speech probably would turn Volodek –> Vlodek. Opinions on Vlodek for Volodymyr?
I also was thought that Volya would work as short for Volodymyr, so opinions on Volya for Volodymyr?

I'm not that familiar with Slavic names, but they both seem reasonable as nicknames for Volodymyr. I agree Volya has a nice meaning.
They’re very Ukrainian /Russian / Slavic. I rather like Vladek, the ones I ‘ve met were Polish.
