[Test] Alphabetical ordering with modified Latin letters
Hello,I know it's standard for modified letters to be treated the same as base letters, but it's somewhat inconvenient to scroll through names that are technically unordered according to their alphabets. For example, Đ goes after D in the Vietnamese alphabet, but they are treated the same, so Đạt ends up appearing before Diệp. I imagine it would be troublesome to set orders for all the different languages here, but would it be possible to at least make it so that the letters are grouped together, e.g. all the names that start with Đ are grouped together and the names that start with D grouped together as well so that they aren't just mixed in with each other?

I understand your frustrations, but this wouldn't be a simple change.Different languages alphabetize in different ways. Vietnamese orders one way, Swedish another, Spanish another, etc. Often the search results include names from a variety of languages -- which one would I use? I could conceivably order differently depending on whether the search is limited to a single language, but this would be complex. Alternatively, I could allow the user to specify their preferred sorting strategy in a setting, but then search results wouldn't look the same for every user and therefore wouldn't be cacheable (meaning searches would become slower).
I agree with this :) it is quiet annoying that names with special character starts are organsed as same letter because they are not same letter.
