[Opinions] Good name for a character in this story idea?
I'm possibly writing a book, not dystopian or sci fi but not necessarily realistic fiction, possibly like a Disney movie without magic and fairies. The theme I think is a character moves from the small town to the capitol city, trying to have a future. There she goes to an Ice Show/Hockey game where she is kidnapped by a skater and taken to a region in the far north called Shiverburn, and ice world with lava lakes, and she has to be rescued. What would be some good character names?Need a name for a female main character, name for the male ice skater/Hockey player (preferably Russian) and the male hero.

Take a look at the quirky little names from the bottom of the USA popularity lists from the 1880s, they are great for sci-fi/fantasy. They're familiar yet strange and fantastical. Any name that isn't linked in the database is usually a winner.Like:Donia

I like Sadie.
Where and when will it be set?
Well, kind of multiple different worlds. One area (the countries capital) will be a 195os inspired city, one area of the country may be farmland and oil wells (inspired by Oklahoma) another area I have confirmed is Shiverburn, slightly inspired by Russia, a very cold land but will lava lakes, where ice skating, hockey, and snow sports are popular.
What genre will your book be?
How can we possibly know what possible characters in a possible book by a person we know very little about could possibly be called? It's a very big ask!
