I am actually shocked to find out that it's etymology really is related to the verb "przemyśleć" (think through). I was sure that the similarity was coincidental and just the result of the old slavic root evolving over time.
I really like the meaning of it. I would be totally lost on how to say it, though (without help).
Spelled that way, it's just a random bunch of letters to an English speaker.

Not used anymore, because it's literally "industry". Przemysław is the preferred modern variant, but it's loosing popularity
due to being outdated and maybe there were too many of them few decades ago, but I don't have statistics.

My slavic languages words for industry are very different (promyslovist, promyshlennost), I did not make that connection

I love the meaning. I would be afraid to completely mispronounce it however. I wish there were more names with a similar meaning.
