The official list from SSA's most popular baby names of 2024 has finally been revealed!
Here are the top 10:
1: Liam. Olivia
2: Noah. Emma
3: Oliver. Amelia (+1)
4: Theodore (+4) & Charlotte (-1)
5: James (-1) Mia (+1)
6: Henry (+2) Sophia (-1)
7: Mateo (-1) Isabella
8: Elijah (-3) Evelyn (+1)
9: Lucas. Ava (-1)
10: William. Sofia (NEW!)
Sofia surprised me. I thought for sure Luna was going to hold on for at least another year. I don't mind it, but I do prefer Sofia so I happily welcome it instead. 🙂
Other surprises to me where Charlotte & Amelia switching places. I thought for sure one of those names was going to switch with Emma, Charlotte mainly. Oliver not going up to #2 & Elijah & Mateo dropping. Mia & Evelyn increasing.
I predict Ava to leave next year or the year after that. I'm not sure why it's dropping so quickly.
