[Opinions] Icelynn!
Icelynn entered the top 1000! People were complaining about how bad Oaklynn was, but Icelynn seems worse! What do you think about it?

Better than Oaklynn, but only in the way being shot is better than being hanged.
I much prefer Icelynn to similar names like Oaklynn and Lakelynn. I met someone named Icela recently (pronounced like Ice-Ella) and I actually quite like it! Maybe Ice names are here to stay?
I actually like it, it's a guilty pleasure, but I wouldn't use it. On the other hand, I dislike Oaklynn.
I've been trying to find a pronunciation other than "Ice + Lynn" that I find in any way acceptable:I-kill-ee-n (sounds kinda Welsh-ish to me)
I-cell-in (I sellin' you a plastic bag?)
Ike-ell-in (Ike + Ellen mashup)The best I can come up with is "Ike-eh-leen"
Honestly it sounds more feminine and name-ish to me than Oaklynn. If it was spelled Aislin it would be more accepted.
Aislin isn't pronounced the same.
I know, just making a 'what-if' scenario. That's close to how I would pronounce it if I didn't know better.
It’s terrible, sounds like a brand of frozen food or something.
It's growing on me, honestly. It doesn't have the worst sound. I like the icy vibe, reminds me of Elsa.I prefer it to Scotlynn and it's about on par with Oaklynn. I assume it's an attempt to honor Iceland.
I honestly don't care what other people name their offspring as long as it's not the names EYE chose for mine (... both of which are in the top 200 in Sweden).Ironically, I have a feeling most people who chose this for their kid thought they were the only one.
It seems like a misguided attempt to honor Iceland.Icelynn & Greenlynn as twins.

I can’t stand the “add Lynn to everything” trend, and Icelynn is no exception.
Oaklynn is awful. Icelynn might be worse? At that point just name the kid Iceland? I know a baby named Scotland, I think it's awful but at least it's spelled right? What's going to be next for -lynn names? Years ago it was Katelyn. Is Treelynn? Rainlynn? Squirrellynn?
Wrenleigh managed to chart last year - maybe Wrenlyn?
I bet Treelynn and Rainlynn are inevitable to become popular. If squirrellynn becomes popular, our world is doomed.
Squirrellynn.I love it.Squirrellynn Oaklynn
Squirrellynn Nutlynn
Squirrellynn Walnutlynn

I might use it for a name in a fantasy novel. It’s not a name I’d chose for a baby girl.
I saw that.... I'm not as judgmental of people's naming choices as I used to be when I was younger , however, anyone that formally named their daughter "Icelynn" last year needs to have their head formally examined at a doctor's office ASAP 🫠
It’s horrific.
I like Icelynn. Ice- names feel very vintage to me, like something from the end of the 19th century. It's definitely a strange name, but I see its beauty!
I am a huge fan, unironically. Icelynn just has a certain...je ne sais quoi. An Icelynn would go by Icy but would be friendly and warm. She might have red hair and pompoms. Oaklynn, though. That's a stinker. Maybe it's the way I have to open my whole mouth to say it.
