Phyllis Harriett (ugh, I've never liked Phyllis)
Stanley Russel
My name would have been Minnie Adelaide. I think it's very charming, though I would like to use Minnie only as a nickname. My masculine name would have been Ronald Milford, which I find respectable but not quite my style.
Erma Alma. Oof. 😅
Clayton Allen. A little better

Lillie. Not Lillian, Lillie. If I’d been a boy, I would’ve been Sam. Not Samuel, Sam.

I would have been named John, which I like, but I find it boring. Dorothy is way better.
Charlotte Ophelia. I LOVE it.Male: Glenn Clark. Don't love it.

Jack Eddie or Shirley Ellen.Jack Eddie is weird to me because I think having diminutives as both your first and middle names is weird, I think having it be John Edward would be better. Shirley Ellen is fine, even if it is a little outdated.
Jean Juanita AnitaLooks like a prank. I’d rather keep my own name thanks…
Clarice Zelma for a girl or Wilson Emmanuel / Odell / Ollie for a boy!i like Wilson, and Ollie is cute as a nickname; Wilson Odell is kind of interesting, but otherwise, i'm not a fan lol
Love Clarice Zelma!
Jessie Beverly. I detest Beverly but Jessie is alright. Jessie is sweet.
Nina Elizabeth and Nina Alexandra are my favorite Nina- combos actually, totally unimaginative, I know
I'd be:Ruby Mary Dorothy AnnieThat's a lot of -ee sounds in a row! Sounds awful, but I like Ruby
Nancy Constance or Charles Michael. The MNs are okay, but the FNs are definitely in my rubbish pile.
Nancy Constance is very old-fashioned, whereas Charles Michael is just boring.Edit: If I was from the USA, I'd be Marie Laura or Walter Philip. Marie Laura is no better. At least Walter Philip is quite nice

Katheryn AnnieThis is funny to me because my middle name is Katherine XD
My name didn't chart, until fifteen years after I was born. In 1996 it charted at 939. I'll use thatThat means I'd be Fae Doris or Hayes RichardMy daughter would be Virgie Margie Vonda or Mitchell Oscar FlorentinoMy husband would be Roland Gerald or Nellie Hazel
I like Oscar Florentino.

Wow, Virgie Margie Vonda is special! Never forget it.Fae Doris is so cute.
Virgie Margie Vonda is a trip, wow. That one got a chuckle out of me. It's got nursery rhyme energy, or maybe a limerick. Something silly like:
"Virgie Margie Vonda
Went to buy a Honda.
When she arrived,
Her salesperson named Clive,
Sold her a ten-foot anaconda"Fae Doris sounds delightful.
Elizabeth Minnie. Elizabeth is boring and I dislike Minnie.
Marie Annette. I was wondering why the name sounded kind of familiar, and then I realized it's just a couple letters of separation from Marie Antoinette lol. I actually like it, though! This Marie Annette sounds like a sweet, demure, and humble gal.My male name would have been Walter Burton. Considering that I'm actually fond of the name Walter, I love it! This combo sounds very classic, golden-age Hollywood.I love this game because it's a good brainstorming exercise, it removes you from the rut of overdone, dime-a-dozen combos and pairs really unexpected names together. Sometimes they clash, but sometimes they're DAZZLING.
I love this game too, and you're exactly right - it shakes things up and sometimes you find some refreshing ideas!Marie Annette is really sweet, I agree with your assessment of it.
Dorothy Joy - cute!
Super cute!
Dessie Clara. Clara is my favourite girls name, not keen on Dessie, too nicknamey for one. Desiree would be ok though.
I would have been Billy Fred (LOL) or Juanita Gladys.
Oooh Juanita Gladys! I love that, so colorful!
I knew you would!
Herbert or Edith. I'll take Edith. I can be Edie. Very youthquake.
Mine - Lillie Marjorie
My husband - Melvin Joseph
Daughter #1 - Mildred Claire (oddly that is her real middle name)
Daughter #2 - Clarice Opal
Lillie Marjorie is lovely! And Clarice Opal is wonderful, I love that one. Mildred Claire is actually really pretty as well.
Yes, I was pleasantly surprised! I wouldn't have thought I would like Melvin and Mildred, but they all seem to go together.
Elizabeth Joyce.Elizabeth is my name already, #10 in both years, and I don't like Joyce. If I were a boy, Donald Clifford. That's even worse.
Oh dear: Wilma Myrtle. And my putative twin brother would have been Lloyd Arnold. The only name I like even slightly is Lloyd.
Aww, Wilma Myrtle is adorable.
You like it? You can have it! It's yours!
I'll take it!
Virginia. I hate it, sorry.
(my first name wasn't ranked, so i had to look in the data for names that had 15 births, then chose the first 1)Female: Adelyn Ruby
Male: Achille Clarence
I would be Katherine Leone, which is really pretty. However, I view Leone as a male name, and prefer Leona for a girl. Katherine is my real name, so I find it funny that it stayed the same.
I quite like Katherine Leone, it feels very sophisticated.
I used statistics of my country I would be Hanna! Using American statistics with spelling Anastasia: LeilaI like Hanna, Leila is okay.ETA: as male I would be Mykola (Ukrainian), or American has no 367 just two 366 and 368, which are Emory, Teddy, Mary, Truman. I love Mykola, only one from America chart I would tolerate is Mary.

Elsie Virginia! That's fitting, I've loudly discussed my aversion to Elsie for years, so of course I'd be one. It's a cute combo I'll give it that. I could pull off Elsie, too. I've got an Elsie look.eta: For a boy - Theodore Joseph. Very respectable.

This message was edited 5/10/2025, 12:32 PM

Theodore Joseph sounds so handsome, not to mention accomplished. This is definitely a guy who has his portrait hanging in City Hall.
That is very cute! Elsie Virginia sounds like the plucky heroine of a children's series from the 1920s lol
I'd beInez Avis Ellieor Willis Salvador Ramiro
My names are further down the charts so I have a higher chance of something a bit more different haha
