Probably a short form such as Yuzko (Юзько) of Yuzef, a variant of Yosip (Йосип).See: https://ridni.org/forename/%D0%AE%D0%B7%D0%B5%D1%84

Yuzef is only in Lviv. I think it is Józef written as Ukrainian because of this (ó is pronounced like u). Jóźko is diminutive written as Юзько in Ukrainian. So I would assume it is from Jóźko. Patronymic are not usually from diminutive, is it safe to say for this that it is?

I also thought it was unusual, but it seems to be the only origin that fits. But Yuzko also appears on the site as a proper name: https://ridni.org/forename/%D0%AE%D0%B7%D1%8C%D0%BA%D0%BE

Yes, but it is very rare (9 bearers). Maybe it is from here, because soemtimes parents will name child diminutive.. hence why Alyona and Olesya became first name. So maybe it just is from Yuzko / Jóźko :|
