Sofia and Mirabelle originate, in those spellings, from different countries/languages. Why? The usual English versions are Sophia and Mirabel; in French I'd expect Sophie Mirabelle.I would prefer to see Sophia Mirabel. I much prefer Sophia to Mirabel, but it's OK as a mn.

I would pair Sophia with Mirabelle and Sofia with Mirabel. Matching the length and level of simplicity/complexity more than the languages they’re originally from.
The spellings originating from different countries does not bother me. I have Italian heritage so even though we live in the United States Sofia is more appealing to me. I didn’t realize Mirabel was an alternate spelling and actually prefer that.
Same as Isabel and Isabelle.
