Hmmm, what about Brosia? I have a frind called Amelia who I call Melia... For some reason I drop the first syllable instead of the ending alot of times. If I ever used it she probably wouldn't have an "official" nickname, just whatever we called her.

BTW, there used to be a character on a soap opera (The Bold & The Beautiful) whose name was Ambrosia nn Amber. Another possibility, I suppose.
