[Facts] Are people really named Hospice?
It is a user submitted name on this website, but is it really used? I can't imagine someone in America with the name. Maybe in other cultures though?

I've either met or encountered people called Furniture and Psychologies - from Zimbabwe, but there are some interesting ones from other African countries as well. Anything's possible.

But in the case of the French name Hospice people are not being named a random noun. Hospice is the French form of the name Hospitius. I have seen it used well into the 20th century.

https://www.geneanet.org/prenom/HospiceThe entry says it's an historic name. If you'd look at the French usage you can see it's only been used infrequently and in the 18 hundreds.
