[Opinions] Re: Various BAs from my home town: Lovieann Bloom + more
in reply to a message by Dianatiger
Lovieann Bloom is genuinely weird. It could easily be mistaken for Lovie In Bloom, and a couple of generations ago when using the toilet was 'going to the lavvie' there would have been other possibilities which I hope for her sake no longer exist.
Calloway James Noelle! Trends are entertaining sometimes. If she'd wanted a Callie daughter, there was lovely Caroline waiting in the wings. But clearly, out-there fns beginning with C are her forte. Crew on a yacht, no doubt.
Are Navy Quinn and Crew Robert related? Blythe looks better than it sounds: my friend's aunt Blythe was always called Bly, to rhyme with Fly.
Maggie Sue is very 1950s: I'd actually like Margaret Susan, but no luck
Elizabeth is inconveniently long, but there are plenty of nns; it's my daughter's mn. Andrew's bland but harmless unless you're a Prince.
Eleanor Anne is lovely; Charles Edward is a bit too royal I think.
Alder Forrest: very botanical; with brother Alessio, nobody will get called Al, which is good.
Barcley? Barclay used to be a bank. Daniel and William are both good, but better apart; not sure how Duke got in there.
Boden, Solen and the second Lenora in one town - as Snoopy said about the snowflake, The last of the rugged individualists.

"Are Navy Quinn and Crew Robert related?" No, but Navy Quinn and her sisters are cousins to Barcley and Duke. They have a lot of cousins actually. Their mom had like 6 or 7 siblings if I remember correctly, and at least 4 others have kids so far. I'm not technically a birth native to my hometown I've only lived there since I was two, but most everyone is at the very least distantly related that is a native there. Statistically speaking all of these kids are probably at least "distantly" related.
Sue is a pretty popular middle name for girls in my region across a few different Generations.
There are actually Three Lenoras in the one small town this generation, which I still live only about 15 minutes drive away from, so after doing this activity I might knock Lenora further down on my long list of future daughter ideas 😅 interestingly enough, my favorite combo for it is Lenora Faye and the girl that used to bully me named her daughter Lenora Kay... I like my idea better though, LOL
