I can see it working on a chihuahua. I'd pronounce it with a long e though. It would definitely be a change from all the Maxes and Bos and Charlies, for sure.
But I don't actually like the name. I don't like Cecilia either. It's probably a lot of factors working together, but the repeated s sounds are a big turnoff for me.
