Try Levka (Slavic) or Levya (Hebrew) depending on what usage you want.
Or Leona for meaning from Slavic name. Maybe you would also like Lyubov.

ETA: It does not sound like Lev - Lev is pronounced LYEF. Maybe it sound like Hebrew Lev (@Rejtblat if you see this please confirm) but not Russian.

The few Lev's I've known in America just say it lev and it does sound rhyme with Liv.

Lev in it's own language is LYEHF (or LEHVW in Ukrainian) and I said Liv and LEEV. Liv reminds me heavily of Lviv, as does Aviv.
